Why are rats more nutritious than mice?
Mice are as good as rats, but you will have to feed a large Ball more of them to make up the same as one rat.
Ask or talk to people who breed Balls every year & feed mainly mice, their animals do just as good & put the weight back on just as quickly after laying eggs. Also, my babies that only eat mice, grow just as quick as the rat feeders.

Howdy all, a good while back someone posted a link to a webpage that detailed all the nutritional info on prey items. I cannot find the post now, and lost my bookmarks due to a virus. Maybe that person will post it again. I think it was from the USDA but I am not sure. If someone out there has this link, I know I would appreciate it being posted again. Many Thanks, Matt
My qote above came from a legit book written by Veterinarians. The studies are, one from 1988 & the other from 1992 by two different people.
You people beleive what you what, What do I know?..LOL.
I'm done with this retarded forum.

I've always been told that rats are more nutricious, too. If mice are really better, I'll start buying those and saving a ton of cash!
Hmm...maybe rats have more of other nutrients. I guess it would take forever to compare ALL nutrients, huh? What are the important ones?
BTW...If you leave this forum, who else is going to use the term "git-r-done" for successful fertilization? Can I start using it? I'll give you full credit of course.
Please don't leave.

Here's a link. It seems mice have more fat. I can't really decipher much else (Phos, KCAL/gm). Any insight?
