i have a pretty nice looking, healthy black throat. i have had him since july and when i got him he was pretty tame then i went to florida for 2 weeks and when i came back he had grown a little and wasnt as tame anymore. i am going to start realy trying to tame him now and i was wondering if thier is anything else i can do along with just handling him rugularly. Pleas give me any info if you have it. thanks

dont force the issue, ive found in my collection that less handling is more productive in taming than holding everyday for the simple fact they dont ever really enjoy being handled, its not natural and they dont feel comfortable, let him readjust to your presence and trust you from there. Another key is to make sure he doesnt associate feeding with the sight of your hand, feed from a bowl or tongs, it also doesnt hurt to feed prekilled f/t meals.
good luck
