The babies sure look nice, but I can't find pics of adults. I'd be real happy if anyone could point me out in the right direction.

Me too. I've been looking at them, had one person say they looked like crosses, but I don't know.

IMO the term High Contrast Argentines is somewhat of a redundancy as all Argentines will have a high amount of black. But I supose it refers to individuals with stronger patterns, very jet black, that stick out on a comparatively lighter body color. Since I only have babies, I can only guess, but I asume as adults they will have a somewhat lighter background(ie. more pinks on the top coat) but will still maintain the distinctive look of Argentine Boas- a lot of black. As far as them being crosses I sincerely doubt it. All of my Argentines are from Joel DuBay and he's not the type of guy that would mess around like that. I do own some Argentine x Colombians as well that Dan Eby produced last season and its obvious that they are not pure. The crosses have a much more silver top coat and the patterns are not nearly as bold as pure Argentines. The tail color on pure Argentines is also qutie different than the crosses... most crosses having a more red color while the purebred have a more orange color and less tail saddles. As far as the Argentines with high pink, the color is a washed out, chalky shade of pink... very unique to Argentines. I'll post some pics of babies below.

This is my "Argentine"!
Well not really, but by pattern this could definately pass off, or for a thick saddled arabesque. He is an Argentine X Colombian from Pete Kahl.
