Hey Jody,
I don't have access to e mail this week. Did she arrive okay? Is she what you expected?
Let me know.

Hey Jody,
I don't have access to e mail this week. Did she arrive okay? Is she what you expected?
Let me know.
I was afraid thats why you asked me to call. Sorry about that my cell was on the outs. Had my brother fix it but just got it back last night.
Anyways Yes she is fine, and looks great. Also looks female to me. I'll give you a call in a little bit to make sure you got this message.
No need to waste $ on a call. Glad you like her, they are a ton of fun.
good and again sorry for not being able to call ya.
Yes she is awesome and eating and swimming etc. like nothing happened. She did arrive cool cause the heat pack wasn't working but she warmed up and was running around before I knew it.
I couldn't pop her but from the looks of her I am confident she is a female. I want to get the money out to you on monday, is a money order sent to the address on the box OK?
Thanks again
That's a drag about the heat pack. It was supposed to be 40 hour, but those things are always hit and miss.
Glad to hear she arrived safe, you should post pics when you get a chance.
The address on the box is fine.
Thanks
I'll get some better ones after I know she has settled in well.

awesome Mertens Jody,
They are one of my favorite species, and would love to keep some one day... Best of luck with her, they truly are a beautiful animal.. Cheers,
bob
I haven't had her long, but she is a monitor and a beauty so I know I will enjoy them.
With any luck i will do good by them.
Notice the amount of blue/green on her face? If I remember correctly, Frank told me that males have a more reddish coloration. This is true with my pair, but I haven't seen a large enough sample size to know if it's accurate.
Seeing I haven't worked with them before thats good information to know about. I just checked her size proportions and tail base to feel and look for any hemipenal bulges. All i see is two very short pockets. Much like that of my female salvators, indicus, and salvadori.
The multitude of colors on her are amazing.
What kind of monitor is that she is beautiful. Might change my mind about going with a bt
