well, happy new years to everyone, and hope everyone had a great xmas as well. my trip to hawaii is coming to a close soon, i should be continental again by the 3rd. unfortunately, my digital camera somehow made its way out of my luggage and was found somewhere in chicago. luckily, ill be getting it back but the down side is that i wont have any personal pics from this trip to share, although ive gotten my parents and sisters to shoot some pics. i've seen some odd looking geckos at diamondhead crater, and spotted a real cool looking crested anole in a community outside of hanauma bay yesterday. sadly i havent viewed any day geckos or jackson's chameleons yet. my tour of the hawaiian rain forest was dulled by the fact that it poured thru 99% of the hike, so we barely even caught a glimpse of any birds. anyway, ill hopefully have something interesting to share by the time i get back home. be safe when you go out driving tonight!!!
