Some people dumped a lizard. A friend has this lizard in an aquarium. He has some sand and a log with him, but she ask me to find out what I could about the care of this lizard. She would also like to get it to eat Flukker's Dried Mealworms and crickets, but has been unsuccessful. It will devour the live stuff, but not the dried stuff. She currently has it with a natural daylight lighting, some sand and the dog in a 10 gallon aquarium. I was able to visually identify the lizard and it is a Yellow Throated Plated Lizard. About 12 inches in length. Any help for this lizard will be greatly appreciated. I wonder why people dump animals? What goes through their minds? Well maybe I don't want to know as I love my dogs and cat.
