Sorry for the melodramatic post of leaving and its not to generate a response but just to notify some folks why I no longer post in this forum. Feel free to contact me if you have questions about kings or want to talk snakes etc...thru my site as Im not taking a Break from the hobby.

Sorry, but this is like the pot calling the kettle black. We all tend to let things get to us sometimes, but I don't see any reason you should leave. I said the same thing out of frustration, but I got over it. Keith, you provide lots of good info, but I'll agree with some of the others that you are quick to judge people or pics. Sorry to see you go......especially for the same reasons you called me out on this a couple of months ago.

You're right Brandon, if I am not mistaken he kind of gave you a hard time when you said you were leaving. I had no intention of running someone out of town so to speak. We had it out, it had its ugliness, maybe things will be a little different now? I am sure Keith will be back, soon too Tom Stevens

Only go for the rest of the year and come back next year.

A few of us have done that in the past, and we came back. It happened to me about three years ago on this forum for the same reasons. I came back, only I bite my tongue now compared to what I used to say.

So, think about it.....and hope to see ya next year on this forum...REALLY.

Have a safe New Year's Eve tonight and I'll be looking forward to more of your pics in the future.

Too bad, Keith . . . I just don't know why some folks think so negatively and are WEAK enough to let their feelings get the best of them and then have to show it out here on this forum. I can only hope that you're not one of them and not let this affect you the way that it has so far. . . I happen to think that EVERYONE is an expert out here so I NEVER get offended by what some folks might say as I know I have been wrong so many times myself and I expect EVERYONE else is going to be wrong too from time to time. . .So go ahead EVERYONE state your opinion and then let it go. To go round and round about some things (yes I read all those posts below and ran out of popcorn myself) is not worth it. So Keith if this is it for you, then I am sorry to that you let "THEM" win this one, but wish you would just forget it and call it a "New day!"
By the way, I personally know that you can NOT find Intergrades (Floridanas X eastern) THROUGHOUT N. Florida! I herped there too many times and YES I lived in that area many years. And almost all of the snakes I found were NOT intergrades! The only intergrades I found were in Duval County Fl.,Camden county Ga., and Glynn county Ga. My 1.5 cents! AND NO, I WILL NOT ARGUE WITH ANYONE ABOUT THIS - CASE CLOSED!!! BOOOWHAAAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Don't worry I still love you all!)

There's no reason for you to go, you know that's true. Too many people are leaving/have left this site because of stupid arguments. There's no reason dude, you give good info, and you are precise in explaining topics and talking it out about snakes. Nobody really wants to see Mr. Eastern Kingsnake leave.

I may be selfish in what I'm about to say, but here goes. I usually choose not to read anything that remotely hints at a quarrel. I don't know why your leaving. As a psychotherapist that works with families in crisis on a daily basis, the LAST thing I want is fighting "after hours". I looked because of the name attached to the "Goodbye" caption: Keith Hillson. For a few years now I have enjoyed posts by you, great pics and giving info to newbies and old herpers alike (you went to a new level with the Eastern site). In fact, I enjoy looking at posts from most everyone that responded to your initial post. I know it sounds kinda corny, but you all are like neighbors. I log on and enjoy. No stress, no hassle, just snakes and others who love to work with them. So I ask nicely, please come back and play. The sandbox won't be the same without you.

Good word Shaky!! I spend my time each day dealing with turmoil in the Church. I keep Herps as a hobby to give me an out from all that the Church is. I am a newbie that has been keeping Herps for 47 years. And I expect to remain a newbie as long as I keep them. I have to say in my own selfish way that I'm disappointed. I have always appreciated the opinions of Keith and I have obtained some awesome animals, excellent advice and just plain good conversation from Tom. Now it will be harder to get Keith's input and that saddens me. But I will make the effort. I wish we could all agree to disagree without making it a win lose situation. But I must say people without passion about their animals/opinions/etc. just are not very interesting. Give it some time Keith and come back soon!
