Is this a good deal?

uiucguy88 Dec 31, 2004 05:11 PM

I've got an offer for a 6' Flordia King snake and a 4' Navaho Pattern California King snake. Each has its own ~40 Gallon tank (47"L x 13"W x 20"H). Comes with all heating pads and lamps and also includes miscellaneous reptile items. Also a years worth of food for both snakes.

How much would you pay for this?

Well, he's asking $200 for all that. You think I'd get my money's worth? Thanks for any advice.

Happy New Year's everyone.

Take it that is an awsome deal. Those tanks are probably worth 50 bucks each. And you would be getting a years worth of free food. Which would probably cost 50-100 bucks. But the only thing is are the snakes captive born?

I'm not too sure about the snakes being captive born or not. I own a jungle carpet python and am not too interested in the king snakes. I'd probably just take them in for a while and try to sell them. If that fell through I'd just see how I like them and worse comes to worse just give them away to a good home. Thanks for the advice so far guys. Any other advice would be appriecated.

Got to go get ready for New Year's. Going to a blues bar in Chicago. I'm only 23, but lived in Chicago all my life. Go figure I'd love this music. Sweet home Chicago.

Happy New Year's.

P.S. if anyone would be interested in buying one of the king snakes or tanks for a good deal from a middleman, let me know and I'll send you pictures. I'm in Chicago, obviously. Later.

You can barely buy both *empty* tanks for that much....I'd say yes.
