blood in cage w/ paired up bp's

jaymccarthy345 Dec 31, 2004 07:45 PM

This is my first time breeding my ball pythons and I noticed a small trail of blood on the paper in the cage when my snakes were paired up (no copulation witnessed) and was curious if this was at all normal or if I should be concerned. I am unable to determine if this is from my male or female. Does anyone have some experience with this during breeding for some insight?

Thanks.

Jay

Yes , this keeps happening with 1 female , and they never lock up . I was told by a reputable breeder that it was the female being "[bleep]y " that a male is present , not to worry . I thought OJ was at the seen . hope this helps...you're not alone .
