I have two young beardies, one i know to be 5 months old and the other looks about 3 months old. My question is, can i overfeed them?? I give them fresh greens and they are available to them 24/7 and they constantly pick at them all day long but with the crickets it seems like they will eat and eat and never stop. I know all about feeding them for ten minutes and all that but i really like to feed mine as much as they like.I love to see my beardies big and well fed. Just wondered if i could overfeed them and if this would cause any problems or am i fine giving them what they want. They are growning great, really big but they have great big bellies on them. Any ideas?? They are always hungry too. Everytime i go in the room they jump off their log and run to the front of the tank and run up and down thinking its food time.Quite funny really.

It is possible to over feed, but I do not think that a baby bearded can be over fed since they are growing so rapidly they need a constant source of energy (that'd be their food).

I'm not a professional, but when Hades was little I gave him all he could eat in crickets for the 10 (which was a ton, Hades is a pig) and then when I put more fresh greens in he'd eat those also. Gained weight fast, grew fast.

The babies should be hungry, leave those greens in there all day for them and if they eat them all and they eat all of the crickets you give them then put more greens in.
