Advice On Buying Albino Burm X Indian Cross..More

GoldyGirl Jan 01, 2005 08:11 AM

Hello,
I've been looking at an albino burmese Indian cross, it is albino color, I was just wondering if $200 is a good price for her. Also, how can I get them to prove if she has Indian in her. One of her siblings looks JUST like an indian and her and her other brother are albino colored. The "Indian" is only $100. I was just wondering which one would be worth the money in the long run as I'm getting one for my birthday in 2 days. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

From what I know you wont find a true Indian Python for less than $500 or $1000. I havent yet heard of albino indian crosses, so I would say dont get your hopes up.

Hello,

These crosses are usually seen at the All Ohio Reptile shows, I nearly purchased one last month for about $125. They tend to have less contrast then albino burmese and as adults look more washed out, I still do like them. For information on the All Ohio Reptile Show go to www.allohioshows.com hope this helps out.

Truly,
Paul Bodnar

I don't want to put a damper on your b-day but by looking at your list of animals I don't see any experience with GIANT snakes. I konw you know that a burm gets huge but are you ready for it.

The lecture aside 200 is a good price as long it comes from a reputable breeder and the animal is in good condition. Remember the price is not as important as the animals health and well being.
