I don't know what you are going to attempt to feed a mushroom to??, but I would say no. I honestly don't know of any chameleons that would give a shroom a try...
haha!
I think the major concern would be making sure what the species is (be sure to know your source and/or look-alikes!). My other thought would be that most of our mushrooms grown on, under or close to the ground where a cham would not normally come in contact with them in their natural environment. This is pure speculation on my part - besides the fact that I don't like them so I don't understand anyone who does (LOL!)

Do you have apples, pears, squash, red pepper, sweet potato
(sweet pototo needs to be semi-cooked or offered in slivers),
dandelion greens, carrots that you could sliver, melon,
strawberries? Any of these should be acceptable. (There are lots
more things that could be offered...but I can't list them all!)
I don't know why a chameleon would ever be likely to eat a
mushroom..so I can't say if it would be harmful or not.
My uromastyx and box turtles eat mushrooms...but they might
come across them in the wild.
spinach binds calcium. as kinyonga said there is a very large variety of stuff they will eat and it may be time to go to the market
here's an article with quite a list

i just reorded some crix and i got some superworms for now. ill try some of the items listed. thanks. maybe if my hissers would lay thier babies on time i would be ok.... the low temp in phoenix right now is 50 but it should get down to 30 by the middle of the week. does anyone know if these temps would affect the hissers as far as laying? the females are nice and fat and the guy at the herp show said they should lay in 2 weeks and its been 3.

Hi Jon,
yeah, it sucks to run out of feeders....Since I now have the tarantulas the crix get eaten when Luna is on a hunger strike - when they are ALL eating I will have to stay on top of things!
As for the hissers, mine are pets (all girls, no babies there! lol!) but from what I understand they need pretty high temps (70 ) to breed/lay. When I had my lobster roaches (touted as abay machines) I intentiaonally kept them cool to limit the amount of babies - it worked pretty well. You might want to try a heating pad or other heat mat under or on their cage at night. Just be CAREFUL that there is an air space and be aware of where you put it (melting, fire - they can easily overheat if no airspace). I used a waterbed heat mat for propagating plants once and did not take precautions and ended up with a fried mat and a melted tank frame! This is why I bring it up!
Here is an article on roaches in general
