You should be scared of the API. They are not the loonies that PETA types are. They are organized, brutal, thorough and are SUCCESSFUL in lobbying for bans on exotic animals.
I wasn't paying attention and now HOTS are going to be banned here in Washington state and it's all because of the efforts of the API. If others had not been paying attention, we would have had a ban on pretty much everything buts poodles and tabbies.
Watch out for these guys and fight them if you have to.

There is a group of different site admins and mods working on a group IEAKA (International Exotic Animal Keepers Association) that we are building to hopefully fund lobbying against groups like this.. Hopefully the home site for it will be up soon so we can try and get it organized against PETA HSUS and API.
