Cool new storage area for feeder insects....>>>

I went to Walmart today to get some plastic shoeboxes for crickets, mealworms, etc. Instead, I found a Sterilite Mini Chest with three shallow drawers in it. It was only 8 bucks. The drawers are close enough to prevent the adult crickets from getting out, but has a small crack to provide ventilation. Currently I have 50 inch long crickets living comfortably in one of the drawers...with an egg crate, a toilet paper roll, and a jar lid with food in it. The other two drawers are housing the mealies and supers. Its really cool and takes up very little space.

Thats what I use.. a 4 tier drawer system... Mealies in the 1st 3 drawers.. superworm beetles in the 4th drawer.. I also use a Rubbermaid 3 tier drawer system for my hatchling leos. You slide a UTH under the drawers and they make perfect nurseries for them. Good ventilation and everything.

Wow!
I'd hate to see the size of the lizard that would eat a 50 inch long cricket. j/k lol. Good Idea I'm gonna go buy one tomorrow for my crickets and mealies.
