I just got a hatchling albino leopard gecko from petco for $25.00! The dumnuts thought it was a regular leopard gecko!

Hope you don't live in San Francisco. The Petco near me has hatchling albinos for $25 too, unfortunately, they had a very sick gecko in there a week or two ago with those albino hatchlings that I am almost positive had crypto (tail rope-thin, legs emaciated, spine showing, but lower stomach hugely bloated. Lying in a pile a runny feces. I had them take it out but they never cleaned the enclosure, a week later all the babies went on sale for 24.99 and now I see another baby in there has a rope-thin tail. Oh dear.

Good luck with yours. Remember to quarantine. Watch for runny poopies. If you see a sign of sickness, take to vet right away. Petco has a 15-day free vet policy too (course not everything shows up that fast...), so if it's sick be sure to call the petco and tell them it needs a vet before your 15 days are up. They general;ly have a certain vet they contract with so be sure to call so you go to the right one and it is covered. Then any treatment will be covered from that particular illness, even after the 15 days.
