I take care of all the reptiles that come in at the humane society. Usually we don't have many but three days ago we got a gravid iguana (she laid 14 eggs yesterday) in and yesterday we got a savannah monitor. Both lizards look well cared for and seem socialized so hopefully their owners will call soon. If not they may be staying with me for a while. I have a large melamine tank the savannah could stay in but I'm not sure what I could do with the iguana...maybe it's time to make some real outdoor cages.

hope their families find them, its that time of year for escapee reptiles...if not certianly they will have a good home with you.. you look love struck!

what are did you live in? nice you get some experience with them.

Not really sure I understood your question. What are did you live in? I'm guessing your either asking what area do I live in or what area the lizards were found. The Iguana was found in Santa Maria, CA and the Monitor was found in Santa Barbara, CA which is where I am from.

We have a friend here that rasies monitors, he said they are roamers and cover a large area. HE also said that looks like one really healthy monitor, someone took good care of him.

We have iguanas and from what we knew, if they get lose they never seem to stray very far from home.

Very nice.....I would be tempted to keep the Savanna and not mention I had it, lol, just kidding. Hopefully the owners turns up, beatiful monitor........and iggy too. Chris
