Sometimes I fall victum to just thinking about my boas as colors and patterns. And, how I have to own all the other patterns and colors. Then, some of my "faovrites" will slap me back into the "right" frame of mind. (For me)
I have yet to own a "mean" snake. Most are sweet as can be. They love to be out.....And, they love being left out.
Charlie is one of my mellow "lap" snakes. He is quite content laying in my lap and watching movies. (Mr. Hershey is the same way.) I watched a few episodes on our Monk DVD with the wife and Charlie. It reminds me how great these animals really are. And, how fun they can be.
A lot of my friends at work ask if all my snakes have different personalities....It blows them away to find out I think they do. All my adults and sub adults do. And, I am learning from my babies every day.
Life just doesn't get better. Loving wife, healthy kids, boas in my house, and a Guiness in hand.
It's going to be another great year to be alive. Take care all. I hope you find your "yellow brick road".
The ramblings of a demented mind.
Here's Charlie.
Funny things about Charlie. He takes three times as long to eat as any of the other boas. He has "slept" in his feeding tank sometimes because I just can't stay up any longer waiting for him to finish. And, when he does finish.....He's waiting for more. And, I always tell him, "Yeah right dude..You take way too long." He use to have a big nose, ergo.....Charlie. Now, he's matured into his face.
Loves to crap in his water bowl....Much to my displeasure. There's of course more.....But, I've rambled on enough.
