Mega RED

Kitchi Jan 02, 2005 10:21 AM

This Suri is only 4 months and two days old in this photo. I bred for widows peaks but this was a nice surprise. About 1/4 of the litter are turning red faster than any I have seen. The mom "Mega Peaks" has very little color and the huge peaked dad is very dark so this was not expected. The red side medallions are blending in with its side color already. If you look closely at the back of the neck you can see the red bleeding in. Curious to see what the color will eventually look like.

It does not surprise me, that the babies came out with nice color. One of these days, maybe everyone will realize that you do not have to have the best adults to produce the best babies.....GOD BLESS......Johnson Herp
