I have a couple of tinc's and have seen the larger one's toes twitching very rapidly, does anyone know why that is?

Thanks

They all do it when they hunt. No one knows why, but there have been many possibilities suggested. It may scare insects into moving or coming out of the soil. I've even had the impression that it might be some kind of communication, but this is sheer speculation from seeing other frogs show up near a feeding frog. It's so universal among the Dendrobatids (at least all those that I have) that is must serve some purpose.
