Boa too small for breeding?

DanW Jan 02, 2005 01:03 PM

I have a young Anery boa that is 2 years old and about 3.5' or so. Would it be ok to breed him now or should I wait another year?

Thanks,
Dan

You said in your post your boa as a him. If it's a male I would give him a shot. I have bred young males as early as 20 mo. old. Others say they have bred males at 18 months. I would only try and breed him to only one female, seems to me that young males do better one on one.
