Well, my Colombian/Suriname cross female (my smaller of the two, she is only 7') gave birth today to 29 beautiful baby boas. this was the female that was to be the Salmontine x her cross babies, but a strang thing happened..... the Salmontine turned out not to be the daddy. My High Pink Hypo (Striped) male is the daddy. I had put them together early in the season for just a week when I checged my mind on who I wanted her to breed with. Well I guess he had already gotten to her because now I have a bunch of super pink babies with oddly shaped saddles, a sure sign that the pink boy did his work LOL, oddly enough not one Salmontine cross in the bunch, I figured that he would have gotten there sometime, he was with her for weeks and weeks.... Oh Well, at least I have alot of cool boas from my striped/High Pink line to look at now. I will post pics when they shed...
Thanks
Jim Hopkins
