he won't tame i need help

i have a 2ft igg and i got him about 2 weeks ago he was fine when i first got him (durring the oldin time) i got a leash for him and he is ok with it he just hates having me put it on him. annyways now when i hold him he bites thrashesh and does the death roll. i need help

My best advice is to handle him without the leash on. And do it often. I've personally found out that if you hold him a lot through his "tantrums" they eventually calm down and are more used to being handled. Of course, you're gonna get injured in the process. Also, if he's in breeding season, you might want to wait a bit.

When i first handle mine, he do the death roll and whip a lot. But i just wont release him until he's calm. Now He just trash for a few secs before calming down and actually seem to enjoy the ride on my shoulder. You can also try to elevate him over your head at arms lenght when he trash, being higher than you often calm him.
