well, continuing w/ my FBT who i was unsure of his bloated like sickness, i was told it could be dropsy... i researched for any possible ways to cure him w/out taking him to a vet... my bf spoke to a friend who knew many herpotologists... he suggested using parsley and rubbing it on my frog's swollen tummy w/ butter for 3 minutes, 8 treatments w/ no more than 2 a day, and then thoroughly washing the frog... sadly, he said there was a risk of my frog going into a coma... and my frog did go into something like a coma, where he would then snap out of it, and go back in, and repeat this a few times... and then he died this was new years eve.... so my father dissected my FBT (w/ much respect of course) b/c we decided this would be the only sure way to know what was wrong w/ him... and it was certain he had dropsy from all the liquid in his body... then in his stomach there was a waxworm, completely undigested that i had fed him a few days before... his intestines right after the stomach was very thin, white, hard, and deadlike, compared to the rest of his intestines which was fuller and pink... there was also some black spots in his intestines... im not sure if all of this is normal... but this is just what we found... then the organ above his stomach, which was bigger than his stomach (im not sure if it was his lungs, or liver?) was gray... i dont know if anyone here knows... but is that normal?? well, we buried my poor little Bam later that afternoon... im really sad that it didnt work out for the little guy :'(
