My snakes have been soaking for almost a week now is this normal

i got all my bp's small cat litter pans as water/soaking bowls and a few of my bp's have been in them for at least 5 days str8 is this normal i also notice an overabundance of condensation inside the sterilite tub is this bad because it has done wonders for there shedding process any help would be gr8

Some may find it odd, but mine do it all the time. Some also do not state that they require a hide spot that they feel secure in. If that just so happens to be in the water dish, then so be it. Alot of people dont have water dishes big enough for the ball to saok in as well. Also there are the visual issues like mites and too high of ambient temps.

What did u mean about the mites part my snakes dont have mites. could a possible infestation cause prolonged soaking i have not seen ANY parastes at all on my animals

Anything is a possibility. From hydrating themselves, to pre shed, to security, to infestation, and a few others.

I meant to send you an email and hit the wrong button and posted instead. If there are no visual issues, then IMO they wil be fine. Until you learn every and all the personalities of your balls, everything outside of the norm wil be peculiar. Jeff
