Couple of my Womas from this year...

This pair should make some nice babies
Incubation is not as hard as it seems, get hold of Mark Sewards' book on Gilas and you will discover the wonders of the "hygroscopic incubation technique". It works perfectly, and seems appropriate for a desert animal. Also, go with 87 degrees instead, I think too much heat is bad for these guys. Ive only worked with these guys for about 5 years, there are others who know more but the info is coveted.

Great looking snakes you have there. Thanks for the incubation tip! Tom Stevens

thanks Tom, the sire and dam are from my friend Doug Price up in the Bay Area, San Fran. Im keeping a few and letting a few go so I can diversify the gene pool. They are great snakes. I am letting my female take this year off so she put the weight back on. Last clutch had 12 eggs total with 3 duds, if my incubator hadnt malfunctioned I would have gotten all twelve I think. That method that Mark uses for his Gila eggs works very well for many spp. as well.
Cheers
Brett
