Gecko Identification?!

chanty79 Jan 03, 2005 01:15 AM

Hi There,

I took a couple of photos today of gecko in my shed. This particular gecko has been living in my room of late alot too and I found a baby one of the same species in my kitchen. I'm in Ipswich (QLD), Australia - and i was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about this gecko and in particular what species of Gecko this is!?

Thanks in Advance
Andrew Chant

It's most likely a Hemidactylus frenatus. They are out there.
Look at the spines at the side of the tail. Without the spines it would be some species of Gehyra but I guess it's a Hemidactylus.

Cheers,
Johan.

That's Hemidactylus frenatus. 100% certain.
