hi all, i recently got a bearded dragon, his name is Plath. i know everything but what things besides lettuce, crickets and waxworms for food. i gave him some diced strawberries with some broccoli and squash baby food in a shallow and not sharp bottle cap and he seemed to love it! so, is that a good thing for feeding?

I would not feed lettuce at all. No nutrients in lettuce. Feed dark leafy greans like collard, dandalion, and escarole. Broccolli to is a no no. Not good for their tummy's to much gas, and can cause diarhea. Stick with the live foods, and good variety salads.

Definitely no lettuce! Collard greens, Mustard greens and Turnip greens are very good. Kale on occasion.
