Albino Spiders

designersnakes Jan 03, 2005 02:41 PM

These two little gems hatched out in December and have only shed once. We have another one that we produced earlier this last season and once these shed once or twice more they should look stunning. The clutch was a four egger and we ended up with 2 Albino Spiders, 1 Spider het and 1 Albino. Small clutches can be rewarding too!

Thanks for looking,

Jack

I'm still new to the whole genetics game, but I don't think your Spider Het is a Spider Het.

How Did you get the 2 albino spiders? Was it a spider het Albino to a albino? Thanks David

We bred our Spider Het Albino that we produced in November of '03 to 2 Albino females in 04 and hatched out 3 Albino Spiders, 1 Spider Het Albino, 3 Albinos and 2 Het Albinos.
He also bred a het Albino but we only got slugs from that girl.
