PLEASE HELP WITH AN ADULT FEMALE RESCUE!!

spottedturtleman Jan 03, 2005 03:10 PM

A friend of a friend gave me a beautiful fat, heavy, big ball python. She is atleast five feet. I think its a female because she has a short tail and no spurs. I would say she is a c.b. because she has no mites, tics, or scars. The cloaca is another matter. She looks like a reddish clay is trying to come out. There is a slight bump and a very small amount of "meat" showing. Right now I am soaking her and I am going to see if she will take a dead small rat tonight. Any help with be great , Thanks to all who reply,
Tom

Sounds like either a prolapse or runny poo, in either case, a vet check would be the best thing to do.

Take it to a vet. Better safe than sorry!
