How are the Vision 400's at holding humidity??

peterfromme Jan 03, 2005 03:13 PM

Hey,

For all you who own the new 400 series vision cages, how are they at holding humidity, and heat? I've owned a few of the 6 foot visions, and it took a little experimenting to get it right.

Being the 400's are shorter in height, and has less vents I'm thinking it may be better at holding humidity for my boas/retics. Please let me know...

With that said, do they sag at all?

Your input will be GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks,

Peter F.

When I have a boa that is shedding, I sometimes put a piece of thin plastic sheeting over the vent for a few days to trap a little extra humidity.

Sometimes I will only cover up half the vent.
