I was thinking about getting one of those big cork bark logs because i have one now but it is definately to small to fit a 4 foot black throat. does anyone know where i can get that for a fairly low price? if anyone has any pics of there bt's i would love to see them. thanks alot.

I use large pvc 10" or greater, half buried or just on top, plus plywood with supports or jsut flat and let them dig under it, they love to squeeze into tight spots to feel secure.
thanks

Plywood most times (whether flat single pieces, pieces with vertical 2x2 legs or supports, or Retes stacks). Most times if they have a flat piece of plywood laying there, they either dig under it, or squeeze under and dig it out some to feel secure and out of sight. Even try using your hand and dig a few inches out under on end, then they get the idea somewhat quicker.
