I thought blue tails were arboreal lizards. I know they dig, just how much of an area do they need to dig in? What are good custom cage dimensions for a blue tail that is 22".
Thanks for any help
Deb

Hi, i would try to go as big as you can. It should grow very quickly and if you are building a cage for it you probably want it to last. I would probably go with an adult size cage at this point. Most monitors will dig quite a bit, try oak leaf litter, I use it with peachies and they seem to like it.
Good luck,
Steve
what type of dimensions should I use? Should I make a tall cage but more of a length than width? ...Or more square-ish? Sorry I just want this cage to be perfect for him/her...
