Can you tell the sex of a ball python by its tail, like I've seen some of the other people talking about with other kinds of snakes? If so, how?
Thanks

I have watched probing before and that is very accurate, unlike physical determination, like looking at the BP's tail. I don't think it is accurate and I would not rely on it. Probing seems to be very popular, but if it is not done correctly, can injure the snake. The other method is to "pop" the males hemipenes (spelling?) Do a search on the web for "sexing ball pythons". I have found info on this same subject and there are pictures to show how to do both.
Thank you for your information. I will do a search on the net.
