I was just wondering if samonella can hurt caimans? Does it efect there health in any way?

danny i was keeping a caiman in a small tub it splashed water in my mouth and i got salmoneila it about killed me but i had that caiman 28 years and he was never sick or should i say she. some reptiles carry it as part of their stomac or intestinal flora but then agin im no vet and wont give medical advice.it is a good question i hope you get more answers i would like to see them. so i think you most likely got yourself a caimen judging from your last few questions if you did how is it doing and do you love it ARCHIE

No I havent got a caiman. I am still wantingone but i did get my savannah. he is awesome. he hangs from my shirt and I walk around the house with him. i will get a caiman one day.
