I have a baby sav and I was wondering what kind of terarrium set up would be most adiquate..he seems bored. I want to have an attractive set up and also one that will suit my little guy.
He also needs a name...please help..

You should get a large bowl large enough for the monitor to soak in, get a nice hide spot (Habba-Huts) and you should use soil as a substrate. Soil provides for good humidity and they love to dig in it. Fill the tank so that the soil goes about 4 inches deep. Cheers!

If he looks lazy and all, its ok, Savannahs are very lazy from time to time. Mine will eat his food, bask, go under to his hiding spot, drink, soak, and he'll lay around.
he doesnt hiss, but sometimes he'll turn around and try to bite me...he bit me once, it didnt hurt but I'm sure when he gets bigger it'll hurt
