what kind of powder should give my leopard gecko for calcium?

best to use would be Rep-cal calcium with vitamin d3 for dusting, Rep-cal calcium without d3 for the calcium dish you leave in there with them, and rep-cal Herptivite, you mix that in with rep-cal calcium with vitamin d3 once or twice a month

D3 is one of those things that they need, but too much can kill.

Thank you, I had no idea that d3 could kill them if given too much. I will definitely look for the calcium without d3 so I can put it in the dish so I don't have to dust the crickets all of the time.

no, plain calcium's not toxic, just the d3 if they get too much.
