Opinion on a diet for beardeds please!!

ATLherp2131 Jan 04, 2005 01:05 PM

My brother is going off to college and gave me all his beardeds. He has always fed them crickets and veggies with greens. I was recentley talking to a breeder and she brought up that she only feeds her babies under 9 months crickets and after 9 months only feeds them superworms and greens. Does everyone agree with feeding their adult dragons only superworms and greens as an offitiant diet?

thanks,

I think they need a more varied diet than that. Superworms should only be fed as treats, they are really high in fat. After 9 months old diet should be about 80% greens and 20% live food. Check www.beautifuldragons.com for a great food list of what's good and not.
