Please post your ideas on maintaining a high humidity

hey guys.

What i have now:

- 2" Ecoearth as a substrate
- small bowl with air stone
- 10 gal aquarium with screen top
- UVB bulb on during day
- misting 3 times or more daily

Im still having trouble keeping humidity above 70 during the day. any tips would be great

Is the screen top covered? I use Glad-Lock bags or plastic wrap. Also, live plants add to the humidity level by means of transpiration.

go to a local frame/glass shop and have them cut you a piece of glass/plexiglass out of their scrap bin. make it about 75% of the size of the enclosure or even more if desired. this shouldn't cost you much at all 5-10 dollars or even less if they're nice.
