What is a elapomorphis bilineatos

Hi there,

What is a elapomorphis bilineatos? It's also called a white collar snake (translation from Spanish). Does anyone know what this snake eats, its habits, temperament, etc.

Thanks,

Sajidxa

The following is cited from Obst, Richter & Jacob's Completely Illustrated Atlas of Reptiles & Amphibians for the Terrarium:

"Burrowing ground snakes, best kept in glass containers. The diet consists of insects, worms, small lizards, and snakes."
The genus ranges from NE Brazil to Argentina, & runs from 20 to 30 cm in length.
Looking at the photo, it resembles Diadopis, but with stripes.

Enjoy! ~~Greg~~
