how long is an adult firebelly newt? i recieved a firebelly about a year and a half ago but i'm not so sure if it's an adult yet. right now it is about two inches. i read in a lot of books and caresheets that they grow to about 3-4 inches. if any of you have any firebellies, can you please answer this.

Japanese or Chinese? I have a japanese a few inches long. She is about 5 years old.
a chinese firebelly
chinese tend to be much smaller. two inches seems a perfectly reasonable adult size to me. also, i think they're full grown well before a year and a half, so even if it was still growing when you got it, i don't think it would be now.
