Why did you name her Kickapoo? I think you mentioned that earlier but I forgot. That's a great name. So clever. Haha. I had a frog named Bugaboo, does that count? Lol.

I admire the Indians, the way they honor the animals, and since collareds come from many areas where Indians are or were, I use Indian tribal or Indian related type names for MOST of them.
I do try and pick a name that fits, Kickapoo, or Kicky is pretty feisty, likes to kick her heals up so to speak !
I liked your bugaboo

That's really awesome that you give them Indian-based names. I myself am part Cherokee Indian, so that kind of makes me feel good too!
Give Kicky a pat on the head for me, she's a real dollbaby.
Oh, and as for yesterday's e-mails, I was just really, really down. I realised Tobias is meant to stay with me.
Man, us teenagers and our stupid hormonal depression, LOL.

You say she's new? Is she eating yet, or are you hibernating her? She looks pretty good, but a little thin.
If all goes well, I should only have two collared tanks next year. I have all mine hibernating now. As far as Aquaflames go, I have Chili, Spice, and Sammie that I collected for myself a couple years ago, and the two females I got from Mike M. Mike doesn't have any aquaflames anymore. I'm glad I have at least two females from his awesome parents. His male really looked a lot like Kong. Kong came from that same location too. Funny think, Azul did too. He had no yellow at all on his head LOL

eating, she will gain. I don't know if they will breed this year, not worried. I'm not brumating them.
You have some very pretty collareds, and Sammie is gorgeous. I Have I think 3 male flames, and a couple females. I also Have a Texas flame male Lakoda, and 2 texas females.
Not really brumating any of them. Mainly a few yellowheads, and the C. vestigium.

they really showed up on her and what big, cute lizard eyes.
Native cultures in Alaska include:
Yup'ik (Pronounced "you pick"
Eyak
Tlingit
Haida
Aleut (Unangan)
Alutiiq (Supiaq)
Inupiaq
Athabascans (large name for several interior natives that include Kuskokwim, Denai'na... Language relationship to Navajo)
My mom calls me Bunning/Bunick which means "my darling daughter" in Yup'ik
She calls my brother Goodun "son".
In case you run out of lower 48 indian names for your babies
Just about all the Alaskans I know think lizards are cool when they, if they ever see one in its natural habitat.
