BoxCarRacer619 Jan 05, 2005 12:49 AM

well i just bought it last tuesday and was told it was feeding every wednesday anyway it's a yearling and looks good so obviously it's been eating something, i tried 3 times already and she's not having it. Any tricks to get it to eat?

here is a pic of her, i currently have her in a 20 gallon tank with screen lid, use bark and spray the tank twice a day.

I had the same thing happen with one of my chondros. They were both shipped together, and I had been told both had been eating regularly. When I got them, one ate right away the same day I got her (which surprised me), the other, though took about 2 weeks to get feeding.

It does look healthy. If you trust the breeder was reputable, it could just be stress from being in a new environment.
