New Gecko

Triad Jan 05, 2005 09:52 AM

My parents seem fine with me getting a new gecko *but I'm going to have to wait until they drop to $20 again*.

I have an extra 10 gallon, an extra lamp, and an extra light that are just collecting dust as every day passes.

I would rather get one at a reptile show but I have no idea when a good one will be coming to Illinois or Indianapolic, Indiana. I like the looks of an albino, but if I can find a pretty colored one (Kalypso is a normal and I was thinking about getting a brightly colored one, or two).
I
've checked out the events list on Kingsnake and they don't have any good shows, plus they can't sell reptiles at the show.

So I was wondering if any of you had any ideas as to a good show I could go to. Indianapolis is about a 6 or so hour drive from me and Chicago is more of a 4 hour *depends on the traffic* drive.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you can't afford the gecko now, how do you expect to afford the feeder insects and the vet visits? You should take that into account before running off and getting a reptile.

Not once did I say I cannot afford another reptile.

I simply stated that I will wait until they drop the price back down to $20. It is simply the fact that I am also waiting for them to get more gecko's in, just in case they get a tangerine or another morph. That way I'll save the $10 I'd spend if I bought one now, and also I'd save more than that because they often get in awesome morphs of gecko's, and they don't price them right so I can get a good deal for $20.

They'll drop price again in February.
