I recently took my 6 largest tegus to the garage for hibernation (I'm in Las Vegas). The temperature is about 60 degrees and and humidity is at about 70. UVB light 12 hour cycle. Most took to hibernation real well, while some still come out every couple days. This didn't strike me as too weird because I read that Tegus sometimes do that. However, my female red, came out and took a dive in the cold water the other day and since then she hasn't gone back in. She just falls asleep outside of their hibernation box. And my black white male, well, he came out and has straight fallen asleep. He's alive, but seems like he's hibernating on the surface. Is this normal? Is my temperature not low enough?
