I have a 55 gallon tank... 1/3 of the tank is heated with a 12x15" heat pad that bring into the low 90's. THe other side cool side ranges from 74-77? i saw on many web sites and in many pet stores that this was ok? ARe these temps too low? for the cool side? My burm seems to do fine with them but i just want to make sure i make the best enviorment for him...thnaks,

77 is almost right 78 is what its says to not go under. Your upper part is good as well. Snakes do need to jump from hot to cold. Right now I am having a problem my cold side is 70 but the cage is big, so most of it is 94 to 80 them 70. I have been working to get more consistent heat.
