I have been watching, reading, digesting, post on other web sites and friends asking me about the envenomation of people keeping and the questions about assumptions of " newbies " getting tagged by starting out trying to keep. A very few was from people that i know that keeps hots as well. Also a few mentioned the hot shows ( probably on line as well )and or wild collecting concerns that people without the knowledge some of us would like them to have, trying or keeping hots. A lot of these assumptions are flagged with the what if and the what if results of laws being passed. In almost more than 90%, I have seen where none of these bites have been on " newbies " but on us "seasoned " keepers in the past months and up to about 1 year ago. This also includes a few of my aquaintances . Of course take a percentage of accidental > venomous in yard, in garage ?, out doors accidental meetings, etc. But even some of those were not the scenario that was told but a long term keeper had told the story to not get in trouble. So, while the thought of a person without the skills and knowledge and or wanting to keep hots and does so , getting nabbed is in mind by John Q Public , it just doesn't appear to be the case. What do you all think ?
