I do not see this issue unacceptable for the Uroplatus forum due to the genus' change of status this month. I assume most who keep and breed Uroplatus are not just looking to make money. For those interested in the conservation of the genus strong diverse bloodlines are essential to maintain strong colonies whatever the species. Maybe a database to document breeding from WC on, where breeders document . Some one should start a free bloodline trading post/breeder exchange. Just dreaming...and dont want to buy a Kingsnake Classified account to trade bloodlines and clutter the trade.

This was discussed earlier last year, the person driving it wanted to send around floppies to everyone and I think that was pretty much the end of it. I built a similar system for chameleons that can be viewed at www.chameleondatabase.com. The system is being re-built at this point in time but it could be easily applied to uroplatus as well. If anyone would like to look at it please register and I will enable your accounts as soon as I can. The format would be a bit different but the basic functionality would remain the same.
