SO LAoe Vera Plants are OK?

lil_frogger2 Jul 03, 2003 11:29 PM

I know there is a post below here about plants, but they said they don't know for sure, they just knew their plants were OK. They said they heard some of you have aloe vera plants in your terrariums, is that true? And is there any potential health risks? And are there any other plants that u kow for sure are good. I plan on planting the plant in bed-a-beast, and covering it with sand..is that OK? ok, thanks!

I have read several books regarding the types of plants to put in with reptiles and each one of them stated that the spines that grow on the aloe vera plants can disembowel small lizards. If you have a baby I would advise against the plant.

Thanks, i'll use fake plants while they're babies, and I'll put real plants in when they are full grown, for a more natural look.
