Nice looking snake, I got a Brooksi pair (2x het hybino and normal) from Andy as well, the female snow he has is impressive and he has a huge lavender albino male. any way that's a nice lavender you got there, is she partially pattern less or was that just the flash.

thanks,,yeah fliptop got rid of this guy because its so apparent he has some cali in him, its funny though how glades says its pure brooksi, im hoping to breed the cali out within a few generations w/the amel from j.cherry that im certain is pure fla.king and a couple of other normal fla.king girls for him

Hey guys!

Glad to see both snakes doing so well. I actually got the snow from Gulf Coast, and they did claim purity. I got rid of the male as part of thinning the herd as opposed to a purity issue (I did after all keep the female). I plan on breeding her to a het axanthic (possible het whitesided) male, and the following year with the lav. All are hibernating now, but as soon as they're up and about, I'll get new pictures, including mangohead's black scale.

Zenny, I'm not sure when the January expo is, but I plan on going. Let's meet up then.

That amel from J.Cherry is a screamer. Any chance of posting better pics of him?

BTW I see a lot of snow brooksi that are really have calif king in them. I just saw two at two different small shows in dec. You can usually tell by the head shape being to narrow.

I know that j.Jerry is a very "vocal" "purist" so maybe I should not have said anything. It gets me riled when we can't even share info about snakes because of certain people who proclaim thier allegiance to Purity when in fact they don't even know what they have.

It best we continue this over private email.

..either that or Blueking better throw a new batch of popcorn in the microwave.

well sure we can voice are opinions???i will ask john next time i see him if he produced it and knows its lineage, he had them on his table as lav.albino fla.kings and honestly from its looks imho it is. but really im not sure how the amel gene came about in fla.kings to begin with,so?,its my opinion it was/has been introduced via other ssp. with the eastern albinos maybe thats how it got into the fla.complex waaaaaay back in the day, but being a person who has produced several hybrids as well as intergrades i value your opinion on looks because youve seen them firsthand, what is your take on introducing albinism via another ssp. within the getula complex? can the sibs be bred true back to parent ssp.? and after say f5's do they still show up as obvious intergrades?or through line breeding can they be bred true again except now w/the amel gene?,,,,,,thomas
