Interesting behavior with a photo

When I was dripping water on Jr. he does this little move. Anyone ever seen this, im guessing it's a water catching behavior.

I have a few that do the same thing when really thirty. I think that's exactly what they are doing. Trying to get as much water running to their mouths as they can. I think this is something they would do in the wild as I'm sure it gets rather hot/dry, and they need to take advantage of any rain fall they can get. That triangle shaped head and flattened body comes in handy as a rain catcher

They use that posture to guide water into their mouths. Haven't you ever heard Steve Irwin say "flat out like a lizard drinking"?
